Obituary
Sharon Lee Whitton age 64 of Galveston passed away Friday October 23, 2009. Funeral services will be Tuesday October 27, 2009 at 2:00PM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Gatlin and Rev. Wayne Landrum officiating. Burial will follow in the Farley Chapel Cemetery.
Sharon was born November 13, 1944 in Pasadena to parents Leon Stephens and Willie Parrott Stephens. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Billie Cantrell and husband Earl Whitton.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon Aucion and husband son in law of Galveston, granddaughters Jamie DeWitt of Porter, and Nicole Aucion of Galveston, brother Joe Stephens and wife Virginia of Livingston. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Alexis DeWitt, Zoe Hamm, Evan Jones and Brook Jones, her nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive her.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Harp, Michael Freuck, Gary Folmer, Anthony Atkinson, Steve Richards, and Donald Canny.
