Graveside services for Shelia Jean Shamblin, 72, of Huffman, Texas, will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 28th at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston.

Shelia was born March 25, 1951 in Jac, New Mexico to parents, Herbert Otis Withers and Alice (Barnhill) Withers. She is preceded by her parents; husband, William Shamblin; grandson, Christopher Barbee; and sisters, Linda "Judy" Rice and Glenda Wilson.

She is survived by her son, Jarod Barbee and wife Kara of Huffman, Texas; daughter, Teresa Borgstedt and husband Forrest of Magnolia, Texas; granddaughter, Sarah Anderson and husband Connor of San Antonio, Texas; grandsons, Ethan Horn and wife Jacque of Chesapeake, Virginia and Jacob Horn and wife Becca of Magnolia, Texas; granddaughter, Megan Tapia and husband Raul of Cypress, Texas; and grandson, Clint Borgstedt and wife Brooke of Tomball, Texas; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
