Memorial services for Shep Green, 84, of Rye, Texas, will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Presbyterian Church in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Joe McDonald officiating.

Mr. Green was born February 15, 1933 in Enterprise, Alabama to parents, Daniel Shep Green and Mamie (Maddox) Green, and passed away March 19, 2017 in Lufkin, Texas. During his life, Shep received the Polk County Senior Citizen Award in 2004. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Dan Green; brothers, Rufus Green and R.J. Green; and sister, Bettye Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Carole Green of Rye, Texas; son, Robert Green of Rye, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, George and Tina Green of Rye, Texas; daughters-in-law, Molly Green of Livingston, Texas and Kathie Price of Fulton, Missouri; grandchildren, Ginger Guy, and Katie Longoria and husband, Chris; great-grandchildren, Logan Guy, Liam Guy, Leeland Guy, Lilly Guy, Justin Howell, Evin Howell, and Brooklyn Howell; brothers, J.L. Green and Jack Green; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 910 N. Washington, Livingston, Texas 77351.
