Memorial services for Shirell Ray Phillips, 61, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. in the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church located at 30 Shiloh Church Rd., Shepherd, Texas with Pastor Joe Scott officiating.

Ray was born January 31, 1958 in Houston, Texas to parents, Shirll Ray Phillips and Elizabeth Ann Asher, and passed away September 28, 2019 in Shepherd, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Shelina Baines of Shepherd, Texas; daughters, Julie Donnelly and husband, Ernest of Crosby, Texas, Gina Caruthers and husband, William of Shepherd, Texas, Lisa Phillips of LaPorte, Texas; and Chey Chey Phillips of Shepherd, Texas; sons, Shirll Phillips and wife, Leah of Spring Hill, Florida, Roshawn Baines and wife, Michelle of Kingwood, Texas, and Kelzin Baines of Shepherd, Texas; 17 grandchildren; brother, Robert Phillips of Livingston, Texas; and special friends, Carmen Phillips of Highlands, Texas, Beverly Donnelly of Crosby, Texas, Candy and Charles LaCombe of Richmond, Texas, Vivian and Earl Brown of Shepherd, Texas, and Rose and Winford Hornsby of Houston, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
