Funeral services for Shirley Ann Brock, 82, of Smithville, Texas, will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Michael Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Ms. Brock was born January 20, 1940, in Livingston, Texas, to parents, Fred Dock Lester and Ester Bell (Henley) Lester, and passed away May 9, 2022 in Austin, Texas. She grew up and graduated from Livingston High School in 1958 and remained a long time resident of Livingston until the past few years that she resided in Smithville, Texas. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas and later a member of First Baptist Church in Smithville, Texas. She always volunteered at Senior Citizen Shops and was a member of the Pink Ladies at the hospital. While living in Smithville, she worked at the Chamber of Commerce and volunteered at an Emporium. Mrs. Brock's life revolved around her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Rodney Clamon; brothers, Jerry Lester and Fred Clay Lester; and daughter-in-law, Teresa Clamon.
She is survived by her son, Rex Clamon of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Kerry Clamon of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Kacee Jo Taylor and Austin, Mason Georges and Skila, Caymon Georges and Seancy, Klaye Georges and Tylynne, Holly Fenoglio and Tony, Jesse Clamon and Rachel, Karen Clamon, Callie McNeely and Hunter, and Dusty Cooke and Dylan; great grandchildren, Kade, Sid, Colter, Traden, Lakelee, Kaxton, Kynzlee, Rhody, Maverick, Emory, Kyndelynn, Kamden, Leighton, Easton, Shiann, Kash, Kase, Kapp, Karli, Talyn, and Tatum; sister-in-law, Kaye Lester of Wisconsin; and longtime special friend, Edna Tomme; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
