Funeral services for Shirley Evelyn Davis, 90, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the service beings at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davis was born on March 3, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio to parents, Avery Newman Farley and Nora Charity (Darby) Farley, and passed away on December 15, 2017 in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Davis; and sons, Joe Wesney and Russell Wesney.

She is survived by her daughter, Candace Reuss of Houston, Texas; grandson, August Reuss and wife, Sara of Houston, Texas, Jared Wesney of Livingston, Texas, Colin Reuss of Houston, Texas, Jeff Wesney and wife, Rachel of Temple, Texas, Jordan Wesney and wife, Ariez of Hemphill, Texas, Chris Wesney of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Marshall Wesney of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and 10 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
