Funeral service for Shirley Headley, 76, of Onalaska, Texas, will be Monday, October 23, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas.

Shirley was born September 10, 1947 in Carlisle, Texas to parents, Leon Hudson Barnett and Ezra Fidellis (Shepherd) and passed away October 19, 2023 in Carlisle, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joe Bailey Barnett and James Barnett; and sisters, Ruth Morgan, Lieuvenia Berry, and Gladys Barnett.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Sherrard Headley; daughter, Kim Comstock and husband Steve; sons, David A. Sheffield and wife Kelly, Kenny Sheffield and wife Waynea, Sherrard Headley and wife Amber; daughter, Debbie Vickers; grandchildren, Timberlee, Zachary, Natalie, Lauren, Ethan, Colton, Megan, Emery, Mark, Dianna, Mattie, Keni, Brennan, Addison, and Ryley; foster daughter, Teri Stanley; brother, Clayton Barnett and wife Pearl; and sister, Beulah Newport and husband Scott; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
