Shirley Virginia Mattix, 78, of Livingston, Texas was born on September 8, 1939 in Baytown, Texas, to parents, Julian and Etta (Powledge) Hoffman and passed away on January 5, 2018 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Robert Carpenter.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Mattix of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Sherry McKinney of Dickinson, Texas; Becky Mattix of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Jan Harrison of Irving, Texas; son, Harry Mattix and Susan of Dawson Texas; daughter, Mary Jourdan of Irving, Texas; twelve grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; brother; Tommy Carpenter and Sue of Baytown, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services are pending with family members.
