Funeral services for Shirley Opal Myers, 95, of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston Texas, with Bro. Kevan Wood officiating. Interment will follow at the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

Shirley was born September 29, 1930, in San Antonio, Texas and passed away August 11, 2026, in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, William T. Smith and Opal B. (Pennington) Smith; husband, Robert Myers; brother, WT Smith Jr.; and sister, Marjorie Glover.

She is survived by her daughters, Penny McCarty and husband David, Diane Dyer, Debbie Young and husband Gary, and Robin Myers; grandchildren, Jake Deike, Cory McCarty, Kyle McCarty, Megan McKenzie, Davis Amend, Madison Amend, Walker Amend, and Morgan Young; great grandchildren, Angelina McCarty Hawley, Caleb McCarty, Cole McCarty-Coral, Kaiden Coral, Nicholas Coral, Raylen McKenzie, Julius McKenzie, Kinsley Mae Pino, Lucy Joubran, and Lizzy Joubran; and nieces and nephews, Julie Davis and husband Brent, Wendy Flynn and husband Stacy, Brandi Banks and husband Matt, Robbi Lauden and husband Andrew, and Ron Glover and wife Heidi; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
