Obituary
Funeral services for Shirley Jean Parrish, 79, of Colmesneil, Texas, will be held Friday, October 31, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Agape Church in Colmesneil, Texas with Pastor Virginia Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at the Parrish Family Cemetery in Hortense, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Parrish was born November 30, 1934 in Houston, Texas to parents, Walter P. Mims and Evelyn Louise (Cannon) Mims, and passed away October 28, 2014 in Kingwood, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Bill Nathan Parrish.
She is survived by her husband, James E. Parrish of Colmesneil, Texas; daughter, Belinda Conner and Archey of Nacogdoches, Texas; son, Dale Parrish and Keri of Willis, Texas; daughter, Cindy McDaniel and Merrimon Baker of Kingwood, Texas, 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Edwards and Joyce of Trinity, Texas; numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
