Shirley Ann Pergande

Funeral services for Shirley Ann (Reeves) Pergande, 83, of Houston, Texas will be held Friday, November 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Shirley was born March 26, 1943, in Houston, Texas and passed away October 29, 2026, in Rayville, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Pergande; sister, Linda Jones; stepdaughter, Barbara Folsom; stepson, Gene Pergande; granddaughter, Miranda Stanley; and her parents Jim Reeves and Julie Brannon.

She is survived by her Children, Renee and Roy Stanley of Rayville, Louisiana, Michael and Geena Holt of Livingston, Texas, and Jason and Michelle Holt of Lufkin, Texas; stepchildren, Phyllis and David Davidson of Conroe, Texas, Connie and George Allison of Goodyear, Arizona, and Joe Pergande of California;19 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and special friends Mary Lafferty, Cleo Wilkerson and Bonnie Holt; as well as a large extensive family of cousins, nieces and nephews And many loving friends, church family and neighbors.

Shirley was a mom, sister, daughter and grandmother. Outside of family, she retired from Walmart (in Livingston) after 25 years of service. She was involved in several Christian ministries including celebrations, Walk to Emmaus and Stephen's Ministry. She was very loving and kind, often sharing her love for others in a variety of ways. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting and camping, and she was always happy to go to or host a party.
