Funeral services for Shirley Rose Williams, 86, of Point Blank, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Dean Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Center Hill Cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 PM, Saturday, April 26, 2016 also at Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.

Mrs. Williams was born on June 4, 1927 in Houston, Texas and passed away on April 24, 2014 in Point Blank, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Adrian and Daisy (Cotton) Clark; sisters, Mathlyn Birdsong and Daisy Young; brother, Leland Smith; and great-grandchild, Madison Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Williams of Point Blank, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Lucille Williams of Sheldon, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Jane Williams of Richmond, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Mike Joiner of Baytown, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Rodney Houser of Pasadena, Texas; grandchildren, Raymond Williams Jr., William Williams, Kevin Williams, Tammy Williams, Christopher Williams, Chadwick Williams, Alicia Lightsey, Sabrina Shipwash, Amanda Scott, Joshua Houser, Hope Barker, and Jason Houser; thirty-two great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Williams will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers, Christopher Williams, Chadwick Williams, Joshua Houser, Jason Houser, Raymond Williams Jr., William Williams, and Kevin Williams.
