Graveside services for SPC. Andrew Nicholas Manton, 21, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, April 5, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the Big Sandy Cemetery in Dallardsville, Texas with Bro. Wayne Bickley officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2020 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Andrew was born September 16, 1998 in Covington, Louisiana to parents, Nicholas Manton and Jennifer Gayle (Hutzler) Hinsdsman, and passed away March 25, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Melvin Hutzler and Norman Manton.
During his life, Andrew proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. His awards include: Army Commendation Medal (Posthumous), Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Air Assault Badge, and Combat and Special Skill Badge - Marksman.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Jennifer and Tim Hindsman of Livingston, Texas; father, Nicholas Manton of Folsom, Louisiana; sister, Lauren Manton of Livingston, Texas; step-brothers, Justin Hindsman and wife, Chelsea, Ethan Humble, Jacob Humble, and Brady Hill; step-sisters, Tori Lyon and Haley Raines and husband, Sean; grandparents, Clayton and Sandra Lilley of Livingston, Texas, Jeanie Manton of Folsom, Louisiana, Lonell and Ann Brasher of Livingston, Texas, and Eleanor Hutzler of Covington, Louisiana; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
