Funeral services for Stacy Michelle "Missy" Newman, age 30, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 2:00 P. M. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston with Brother Byron Lyons officiating. Interment will follow the service in Peebles Cemetery in Livingston. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 beginning at 5:00 P. M. at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. "Missy" was born August 6, 1987 to Mitchell D. and Stacy L. (Scruggs) Newman in Galveston, Texas and passed away on September 18, 2017 in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by both of her grandmothers, Jackie Scruggs and Darlene Newman; and great grandmother, Ruby Matthews.

Survivors include her parents, Mitchell D. and Stacy L. (Scruggs) Newman of Livingston, Texas; two brothers, Keagen Newman and wife Summer Newman and Bradley Newman, all of Livingston, Texas; grandfather, Tommy Scruggs of Caldwell, Texas; grandfather, Mike Newman of Livingston, Texas; niece, Kennedy Newman of Livingston, Texas; nephew, Konner Newman of Livingston, Texas; niece, Kynlee Newman of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
