Memorial services for Stanson Ray McFairen, 53, of Shepherd, Texas will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 6:00 p.m.
Mr. McFairen was born on January 18, 1963 in Humble, Texas to parents, Hollis Ray McFairen and Annie Lue (Clark) McFairen, and passed away August 12, 2016 in Shepherd, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Diane McFairen of Shepherd, Texas; daughter, Mary Edwards of Baytown, Texas; sons, William McFairen of Onalaska, Texas and Larry McFairen of Shepherd, Texas; father and step-mother, Hollis and Janet McFairen of Canon City, Colorado; sisters, Mary Whitmire of Splendora, Texas and Louann Sweeten of Shepherd, Texas; brothers, Noel McFairen of Trinity, Texas and Hollis McFairen Jr. of Canon City, Colorado; sister, Irene Betts of Canon City, Colorado; grandson, Ja'Mere Edwards of Baytown, Texas; granddaughter, Aaliyah Edwards of Baytown, Texas; grandson, Cason McFairen of Onalaska, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
