Funeral services for Stephen Grant Saxon, age 56 of Friendswood, Texas, will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church in Corrigan, Texas with Rev. Curtis Jordan officiating the services. Interment will follow the church service at Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan. Pallbearers are Mick Woodard, Chuck McFarland, Jamer Tolar, Daniel Quinn, Doug Tompkins, and Clint Dorman. Honorary Pallbearers are C.J. Dennison, Chad Dennison, Jerry Surtala, J.W. Reneau, Tim Locke, and Mr. VaVrecka. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, 2011 at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church in Corrigan beginning at 6:00 PM.

Stephen was born on August 8, 1955 in Corrigan to parents John Howard Saxon, Jr. and O?ÇÖWeena Emmons Saxon. He is survived by his soulmate, Sandra Dee Dennison of Friendswood; mother, O?ÇÖWeena Saxon of Weatherford; Brother, John Mitchell Saxon and wife, Gayle of Corrigan; Sister, Michelle Lea Tompkins and husband, Doug of Weatherford; Aunt and Uncle, Bonnie and Charles Fuller of Livingston. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.
