The road goes on forever and the highway never ends for Steven Glenn Slocum who passed away Dec 1, 2025
Steve proudly served his country in the US Army and continued to serve our country as a long haul trucker for many years. He was proud of his time in the US Army as well as his time spent on the road delivering goods to the families of the USA.
Steve was lovingly cared for at the home of his niece and nephew, Buddy and Rhonda Wolff until the time of his passing.
Steve leaves behind two precious sisters and a brother in law, Charles and Sheila Redd and Peggy Hall.
Steve also leaves behind his children, Steven Randall (Randy) Slocum and Christy Slocum Richardson, son in law Rodney Richardson, and grandchildren, Casey Richardson, Kaylin Richardson, Evan and Hannah Stielow, and Steven Gage Slocum. Nieces-Rhonda Wolff and Hollie Hall, Nephews- Brent Jones and Buddy Wolff, Great Nieces and Nephews- Rachel Harshaw and husband Jason, Reanna Kavanaugh and husband Deston, Regan Carter, Joshua Mendoza, Brittany Mendoza, Ashley Mendoza, as numerous great-great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his loving mother and father Cecil and Hassie Slocum, his brother Michael Eugene Slocum, and his nephew Michael Thomas Mendoza
A memorial service will be held in Steve's honor on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.
