Graveside services for Susan Hodge, 65, of Onalaska, Texas will be held Monday, September 2, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle, Texas with Bro. Elton Hodge officiating. Visitation will be held the day of service, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., at the cemetery.

Susan was born August 18, 1959 in Houston, Texas and passed away August 28, 2024 in Onalaska, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Gates and Maudine (King) Gates; brothers, Randall Gates and Charles Gates, Jr.; sister, Emily Villarreal; and son-in-law, Richard Parker.

She is survived by her former husband, David Hodge; daughters, Rochelle Gilchriest and husband Dayle, and Cassandra Hodge; son, Johnathan Brickman and wife Brianna; grandchildren, Autumn Gilchriest, Ricky Parker, Kylee Parker, and Jace Brickman; and sister Jennifer Sargent; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Autumn Gilchriest, Dayle Gilchriest, Ricky Parker, Frank Green, Kylee Parker, and Johnathan Brickman.
