Memorial services for Susan Jean Walters, 58, of Cleveland, Texas, will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Bear Creek Baptist Church in the Bear Creek Community, Texas with Roy Duke officiating.
Mrs. Walters was born December 14, 1957 in Houston, Texas to parents, Jimmy Flanagan and Willie (Glick) Flanagan, and passed away February 13, 2016 in Madisonville, Texas. She graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1976. Soon after, Bentley and Susan were married on April 15, 1977. They would have celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary this year. Susan worked as a purchasing agent with the New Caney I.S.D. and was an avid crocheter. She had been a member of the Cut-N-Shoot Hog Chapter since 2005. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sherry Flanagan.
She is survived by her husband, Bentley Walters of Cleveland, Texas; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Diana Walters of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Brian and Sabrina Walters of O'Fallon, Missouri; granddaughter, Lily Walters of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; brother, Michael Flanagan of Houston, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Gary Loebsack of Franklin, Tennessee; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Montgomery County Women's Center or to the Montgomery County Animal Shelter.
