Obituary
Syble Marian Phillips 84 of Livingston passed away Monday May 18, 2009. Funeral services will be held in her honor 10:00AM Wednesday May 20, 2009 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Borden officiating. Burial will follow in the Peebles Cemetery.
Syble was born May 12, 1925 in Livingston to parents Vernon McNiel and Liddie Brewer McNiel. She is preceded in death by her husband Walton C. Phillips, son Robert Phillips, granddaughter Michelle Phillips, sister Velma Henry, and brother Lamar McNiel.
She is survived by her sons David Phillips Sr. and wife Margaret of Livingston, Lowell Phillips of Livingston, daughters Dian Platter of Livingston, and Audrey Phillips of Austin. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, sister Dene Pinckard and husband Larry of Madisonville, brother L.C. McNiel and wife Pat of Cleveland, sister in law Ruby Fay Walker of Rusk.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Owens, Carey McNiel, Matthew McNiel, Robert McDonald, Matthew McDonald, and Rusty Evans.
