A memorial service for Sylvia Maurine Roeseler, 82, of Coldspring, Texas will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Coldspring Methodist Church in Coldspring, Texas with Bro. David Dewitt officiating.

Sylvia was born November 11, 1940in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed away August 13, 2023 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband; Robert Roeseler; parents, Earnest Richard Downing and Carmen Thelma (Mann) Downing; brothers, Earnest Richard Downing, Jr. and James Harrison Downing; and sisters, Linda Winkelmann and Donna Downing.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Roeseler Stacy and husband Tim of Lufkin, Texas; nieces; Misty Myers and husband Robert of Austin, Texas, Leigh Ann Tyroch and husband Brandon of Houston, Texas, and Erin Chumley of Cumby, Texas; grandchildren, Hannah Stacy and Caleb Stacy and wife Lauren, both of Lufkin, Texas, Mary Grace Hill and husband Travis of Ft. Worth, Texas, Daniel Stacy and wife Katrina of New Braunsfield, Texas, and Vincent Chumley and wife Maranda of Cumby, Texas; great grandchildren, Olivia Stacy, Heidi Stacy, Rex Stacy, Isaac Thornton, Guy Chumley, and Tanner Chumley; and brother-in-love, Buddy Shepherd of Coldspring, Texas; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
