Funeral services for Teresa Mignon Scott, 60, of Coldspring, Texas will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025,  at 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Don Snider officiating. Interment will follow at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, September 19, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Teresa was born October 11, 1964 in Houston, Texas and passed away September 15, 2025 in Coldspring, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Stafford Akeroyd and Alline (O'Quinn) Akeroyd; and sister-in-law, Heather Lawrence.

She is survived by her husband, Matthew Scott of Coldspring, Texas; son, Michael Dean Akeroyd of Louisiana; daughter Melissa Faye Kuzniar of Santa Fe, Texas; son, Robert Shlemon and Sabrina of Huffman, Texas; grandchildren, Kaeli Rebecca Akeroyd, Kaeden Matthew Akeroyd, Hayden Matthew Martin, Hayley Marie Martin and Kinzley Faye Kuzniar; and sisters, Kathy Haneline and Mike of Splendora, Texas and Dorothy Robinson of The Woodlands, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Hayden Martin, Kaeden Akeroyd, Brian Lawrence, Steve Scott, Dave Jenkins and Robert Shlemon.
