Terri Lynn Buchanan Miller passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 15, 2025. She was born September 6, 1947, in Waco, Texas, to William Thomas Buchanan Jr. and Irma Lee Buchanan Edmundson.
Terri attended schools in Waco before earning her degree in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. She and her husband, Jim, met, and married during their college years. Together they raised two sons, Brant and Todd. After college, they lived in Woodville, Texas, before moving to Livingston in the early 70s, where they built and operated Livingston Big Star Grocery. They later added a video store inside and eventually opened over 20 "49 and More" Video Stores across East Texas.
In the late 70's Terri was co-owner of A+ Lady, where she taught aerobics. In the 1990s, she explored a home business creating invitations, announcements, and business cards. She was active in the Livingston Chamber of Commerce, Crime Stoppers, and the Miss Polk County Pageant.
She also proudly supported the SPCA and the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jim Miller.
Survivors include her children, Brant and wife, Maggie, and Todd and wife, Stephanie; grandchildren Josh (Jordan) Miller, Cameron (Brittney) Delahoussaye, Kylie (Hayden) Stephens, Cody Miller, Brannon Miller, and Kelan (Vanessa) Miller; great-grandchildren Tripp Miller, Dakota Delahoussaye, Beaux Miller, Eli Miller, Remi Delahoussaye, and Ellerie Miller; and caregivers Annie Robinson, Debra Simmons, Becky Everitt, Gracie Johnson, and Pam White, who were like family.
