Obit for Terry Deon Muckleroy
Funeral Services for Terry Deon Muckleroy, age 83 of Onalaska, Texas, will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 18, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Conducting the services will be Chaplin of HPD, Monty Montgomery. Pallbearers are: Michael Muckleroy, Terry Ray Muckleroy, Ira ""Butch"" Muckleroy, Ali Hayatghaibi, Shawn Hayatghaibi, Terry Lee Muckleroy, Mark Red Wine, Robert Blalock. Internment will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston.
Mr. Muckleroy was born on December 29, 1928 in Nacogdoches, Texas, to parents, William Griffin Muckleroy and Edrie Chisum Muckleroy. He passed away on June 13, 2012, at his home in Onalaska, Texas. Mr. Muckleroy served in the U.S. Army. He was a policy officer for the Houston Police Department for twenty-eight years and retired as a Detective.
Mr. Muckleroy is preceded in death by his parents, William and Edrie Muckleroy. He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-two years, Betty Muckleroy of Onalaska; three sons, two daughters, one daughter-in-law and one son-in-law, Terry Ray Muckleroy of Onalaska, Joyce and Ali Hayatghaibi of Rosharon, Stephanie Hickman of Onalaska, Michael and Teressa Muckleroy of Onalaska, and Ira Warren ""Butch"" Muckleroy of Kennard; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Kay Buterfras of Deer Park and Margie Valentino of Baycliff; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston on Saturday, June 16, 2012, beginning at 2:00 PM.
