Terry Lee Nale

Terry L. Nale, age 73, of Livingston, Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 24, 2026. Terry was born on January 5, 1953, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, to Johnathan W. Nale and Lois M. Nale. He was a devoted Catholic believer who carried his faith, love for family, and kindness toward others throughout his life.

Terry was married to the love of his life of 51 years, Thina Marie Nale. Together, they built a family filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Terry was a proud father and grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren, family, and all the fur babies. One especially close to his heart was his Molly girl.

Terry spent his entire working life around the railroad. He started his career at Berwind Railway in Hollidaysburg, PA. He worked as a supervisor at GATX in Plantersville, Tx., and was proud of the work he did. He was also a volunteer firefighter, participated in eagle scouts, wrestling, and was in the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, giving time to help and protect others in his community. Terry was the kind of person who was always willing to lend a helping hand and support his neighbors whenever he could.

Those who knew Terry will remember his comical personality, quick wit, and his incredible ability to figure things out. He was, as his family would lovingly say, a "Dog gone genius.” Terry could make people laugh, solve any problem put in front of him, and always seemed to know how to get things done. He was hardworking, caring, and deeply family oriented.

Terry enjoyed many things throughout his life, including fishing, hunting, bingo, golfing, Barbecuing, and handy work. He loved being around his family and friends and enjoyed supporting the people around him. His faith and his family were especially important to him, and he will be remembered for the love and laughter he brought into the lives of those who knew him.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Johnathan W. Nale and Lois M. Nale; his twin brother, Jerry L. Nale; his sister, Jennifer E. Helsel; twin brother of Jennifer, Morgan R. Nale, his brother-in-law Kevin R. Hoover and his nephew Johnathan Nale.

He is survived by his loving wife, Thina Marie Nale of 51 years; his daughters, Trina Holland and her husband Randy, Taresa Martin and her husband Scott, his son Terry Nale and his wife Amy Cone; and his daughter by choice, Trish Fronzaglio and her husband Tony; his grandchildren Tyler, Trevor, Lynzie, Tristin, Tammy, Trace, Terry, Concetta, Traci, Thomas, Courtlynn, Mark, Savannah and her husband Bryan, Italia, Parker, Anthony, and Dakota; and plenty of beloved fur grandbabies; his siblings, John D. Nale and his wife Anna, William L. Nale, Cheryl M. Nale, and Lisa A. Hoover; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his grand Angels supportive crew, Terry Lee, Chris, Hailey, Travis, Alden, Glen, and James.

Terry's life was a blessing to so many people. His laughter, stories, wisdom, kindness, and unforgettable personality will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. Although he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the love he gave will continue through his family and all those whose lives he touched.

May he rest peacefully in the loving arms of God until we meet again.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM starting with the Rosary at 7:00pm at Cochran Funeral Home, located at 406 Yaupon, Livingston, Texas 77351.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, located at 2590 US-190, Livingston, Texas 77356. Followed by a procession to the Forest Hill Cemetery at 1780 S. Washington Ave. Livingston, Texas 77351 for the grave side burial.

Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Terry's life, share memories, and honor the man who meant so much to so many, back at the church.
