A memorial service for Terry Lynn Valentine, Sr., 69, of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Everett Baylock and  Bro. Byron Lyons officiating.

Terry was born September 30, 1955 in Knoxville, Tennessee and passed away December 18, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Valentine and Dorothy (Scarborough) Valentine.

Terry worked many years and retired from the Texas Department of Corrections. He also worked as a deputy with Polk and San Jacinto counties.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Valentine; sons, Terry Lynn Valentine, Jr. and wife Sissy, and Steven Valentine and Billy New; daughters, Peggy Hudson, Charlotte Hill and husband Blake, Vonessa Alsup and fiancé Trent Misener, and Devona Montgomery and husband Kenneth; grandchildren, Addison, Grace, Kaylee, Van, Alice, Tre', Charles, Knox, Nic, and Nash,; brother, Aaron Valentine and wife Audrey; and sister, Debbie Dillard and husband ; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
