Funeral services for Thelma Carolyn Mence, 81, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Central Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Mike Meadows officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, April 2, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Mence was born June 13, 1936 in Lousiana to parents, Harold and Ava Nazworth and passed away March 29, 2018 in Conroe, Texas. She was best known for her beautiful lawn and decorating homes for Christmas. She was loved by many. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Mence; parents; and sister, Norm Rae Foreman.

She is survived by her son, David Keith Mence of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Martin Kyle and Laurel Mence of Sherman, Texas; grandson, Benjamin Barnett of Sherman, Texas; brother, Harold Nazworth of Little Cypress-Mauriceville, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Fred Smith, Travis Gibson, Gene Bush, Ben Royden Ogletree, Bret Nazworth, Trent Smith.
