Thelma Ramonia (Mona) James

Thelma Ramonia (Mona) James, 64, of Livingston TX, entered into eternal rest November 11, 2022. She was born October 28, 1958 to parents, Edward and Mary McCullough in Selma, Alabama. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 2:15 p.m. at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Mona is survived by her husband, Billy James; their sons, Bobby and Eddy James, all of Livingston, Texas; her daughter, Brittany Roach Duke; grandchildren, Hayden and Finley Duke; sisters Debra McCullough and husband Mark Engle, Patricia Lane and husband Michael; niece Michele Thornhill and husband Tim; nephew; Travis Lane; great nephew, Camden Thornhill; and great niece, Kinsley Thornhill, all of Houston, Texas.

She is preceded in rest by her parents, Edward and Mary McCullough.

Mona graduated from Aldine High School where she excelled in volleyball, basketball, track, tennis, cheerleading, and off campus girls softball. In addition to all of her sports accomplishments, Mona was also Ms. Aldine her senior year.
