Funeral services for Thelma Loraine Holcombe Rowlett Wolfer, age 89, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, with Rev. Lindell Mitchell officiating, visitation after the service. Interment in the Hardin Cemetery, Hardin, Texas at 2:00 PM.

She was born December 21, 1920 in Harris County, the daughter of the late John Dewey Holcombe and Mary Maude Ely Holcombe and passed away on October 24, 2010 in a Nursing Facility in Lufkin, Texas.

Thelma is survived by her daughters and sons in law, Anne and Sherman Collins, and Linda and Coleman Standley, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sherry Rowlett, grandchildren, Brian McWhirter, Terri Norris, Eric Collins, Kerry Collins, Sarah Rowlett, Kristen and Cody Kercheval, great grandchildren, Chelsea Norris, Brittany Williams, great great grandchild, Leela Henson. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 58 years, Hubert Rowlett of Onalaska, husband of 10 years, Leonard Samuel ""Mike"" Wolfer and brother, John Dewey Holcombe, Jr.

The family of Mrs. Wolfer would like to thank everyone at the Grace Care Nursing Center and Heart to Heart Hospice. A special thanks to Mary Gomez and Barbara Deason for all of your time, love and devotion.
