Funeral services for Thomas J. Lowe, 78, of Tomball, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 11, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating and the eulogy reading by Alton Gerhardt. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in the Barnum Community, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.

Mr. Lowe was born on October 15, 1935 in Moscow, Texas and passed away on April 7, 2014 in Houston, Texas. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and later worked in the lumber industry, retiring from LA Pacific. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Riley Lowe, Sr. and Della (Toney) Lowe; brother, Thurman Lowe; and sister, Mae Stutts.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Lowe of Tomball, Texas; son, Jack Lowe and wife, Lori of Sugarland, Texas; daughter, Jana K. Baker and husband, Jim of Tomball, Texas; grandchildren and their spouses, Jared Lowe and Ann Marie of Frankston, Texas, Meghan Brown and Brady of W. Columbia, Texas, Anthony Baker and Murrae of Conroe, Texas, Keely Ana Baker of Tomball, Texas, and Cory Thomas Baker of Tomball, Texas; great-grandchildren, Parker Lowe, Presley Brown, Emmylou Brown, Aiden Baker, and Noelle Baker; brother and sister-in-law, William "Bo" Lowe and Charlene of Onalaska, Texas; brother, Arthur R. Lowe of Huntsville, Texas; sister, Nelma Huer of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Lowe will be escorted to his grave by pallbearers, Jared Lowe, Brady Brown, Anthony Baker, Cory T. Baker, Greg Lowe, and Kevin Dandy. Honorary pallbearers include, Robert Chisolm, Gayland Hancock, Henry D. Pope, B.L Manry, Marvin Slusher, and Cory Jones.
