Funeral services for Thomas Anthony Spurlock, 60, of Moscow, Texas, will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., in the Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Corrigan, Texas with Bro. William "Peanut" Glass officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Spurlock was born June 30, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas to parents, Thomas Wademer Spurlock and Margaret Doreen (Pennington) Spurlock, and passed away September 5, 2020 in Lufkin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father; wife, Cynthia Spurlock; and son, James Spurlock. During his life, Thomas was a Lieutenant with the Corrigan Volunteer Fire Department. He served with Corrigan VFD since 1984.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Spurlock of Moscow; son, Justin Spurlock and Lyndsey Placker of Livingston; daughters, Carol Spurlock of Grapeland, and Cyndi Spurlock of Nacogdoches; step-sons, Robert "Bobby" Bean Jr. of Indian Springs, Ross "A.J." of Livingston, and Matthew Moore of Lufkin; step-daughter, Lois Bean of Lufkin; grandchildren, Autumn, Kelsey, Kynlee, Emma, Wyatt, Sayge, Neena, Tymberlyn, Jamie, and 1 baby girl on the way; mother, Margaret Spurlock of Lufkin; brother, David Spurlock of Arizona; and sister, Ann Spurlock-Westbrook of Lufkin; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
