Graveside services for Thomas Franklin Thain, 88, of Tyler, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 17, 2017 in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Corrigan, Texas with Bro. Fuller officiating.
Mr. Thain was born December 8, 1928 in Dayton, Texas to parents, William F. and Laura Thain, and passed away on April 14, 2017 in Tyler, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; sons, Thomas Brian Thain, John Thain, and William Franklin Thain; and sisters, Alice Cado and Molly Thain.
He is survived by his grandson, Travis Nichols of Huntsville, Texas; granddaughter, Hope Thain of Huntsville, Texas; grandson, Daniel Colquitt of Huntsville, Texas; granddaughter, Leda Patterson of Stafford, Texas; granddaughter, Deshana Murphy of Qunton, Oklahoma; grandson, Jacob Adams of Tennessee; great-grandson, Wayde Caples of Huntsville, Texas; great-granddaughter, Scarlett Rose of Huntsville, Texas; brothers, Robert Lee Thain and wife, Eva Jean of Houston, Texas, Rex Thain and wife, Billy Anne of Baytown, Texas, and Harold Thain and wife, Ruby of Georgia, Texas; and sister, Dorothy Foster of Baytown, Texas; along with numerous other family and friends.
