Funeral services for Thomas Earl Walters, 84, of Point Blank, Texas, will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Point Blank, Texas with Bro. Mickey Fountain officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Hill Cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, July 16, 2018, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Walters was born September 12, 1933 in Camilla, Texas to parents, Charles Spurgeon Walters and Rosa Lee (Hamm) Walters and passed away July 12, 2018 in Huntsville, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, J.C. Walters; and sister, Fannie Kate Cochran.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Walters of Point Blank, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Marjan and Scott Schram of Sanger, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Nenabeth and Randy Sledge of Point Blank, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Clay Palmer of New Caney, Texas; grandson, Andrew Palmer, William Palmer, Jason Lozano, Larry Sledge, Brian Sledge, Brandon Schram, and Carter Schram; sisters, Dorothy Ray Greene of Arlington, Texas, Maybelline Miller of Coldspring, Texas, Margie Whitmire of Moss Hill, Texas, and Anna Thorpe of Evergreen, Texas; brothers, J.E. "Buddy" Walters of Andice, Texas and N.E. "Butch" Walters of Franklin, Texas; and sister-in-law, Vivian Walters of Huntsville, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
