Obituary
Memorial services for Thomas A. Williams Sr., 69, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Fred Huff officiating. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post# 8568. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.
Mr. Williams was born in Sikeston, Missouri on May 3, 1946, to parents, Dave Williams and Agnes (Sparks) Williams, and passed away on January 4, 2016 in Onalaska, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; adoptive parents, Slim Sparks and Edith (Crane) Sparks; sister, Patsy Sparks; and brother, Dennis Sparks.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Williams of Onalaska, Texas; son, Thomas A. Williams Jr. and wife, LaKeisha of Katy, Texas; daughter, Tonia Cloninger and husband, Chuck of Pasadena, Texas; sisters, Velma Gilmer of Knoxville, Arkansas, Laura Stone and Elsie King both of Sikeston, Missouri, Laura Idsinga of Seattle, Washington, Norva Wiles of Chicago, Illinois, and Kay Clifford of Clarksville, Arkansas; brothers, David Williams and Roy Gene Williams both of Lamar, Arkansas, Dean Williams of Ozark, Arkansas, and David Sparks of La Plata, Maryland; grandchildren, Cory, Chelsea, Candice, Kayla, Jasmine, Jordan, Shelbi, Samantha, and Dakota; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Kashtynn and Karl; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, other relatives and friends.
