Thorvald Ernest ""Ernie"" Drappeaux, 67, died Monday, January 21, 2008 at the Trinity Mission Nursing Home in Diboll, Texas.
He is survived by Ernest Drappeaux, Jr., son of Ft. Eustis, VA, Lauren Drappeaux, daughter of Tyler, Joshua Langley, son of Tyler, Thresea Jo Barta, daughter of Little Elm, Texas, Robin Lynn Smith, daughter of Van Alstyne, Texas, Kimberly Ann Smith, daughter of Colony, Texas, Romona Edwards, sister of Woodville, FLorida, Vernell Wabasha, sister of Morton, MN, Viola Conrad, sister of Clear Lake, Texas, Velma Louise Boyles, sister of Little Elm, Texas, David Ablett, grandson of Van Alstyne, Texas, Shawn Ablett, grandson, of Van Alstyne, Texas, Ryan Smith, Grandson, of Van Alstyne, Texas, Daniel Smith, grandson of Van Alstyne, Texas, and Hailey Smith, granddaughter of Colony, Texas.
He was prededed in death by his father Joseph Drappeaux, his mother Winifred Keeler Drappeaux, 1, brother, 2, sisters, and grandson Brandon Barta.
He was born July 19, 1940 in South Dakota.
Pallbearers will be Clint Harris, Sidney Boyles, Jay Accuttoroop, Jarod Medlock, Nathan Lewis, and Wayne L. Carlton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Benjamin Dunn, Maurice McLauren, Chief Ernest Wabasha, Hereditary Chief, Leonard Wabasha.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 2:00pm at Graveside. Interment will be in the Indian Baptist Cemetery in Livingston, Bishop Vic Larsen.
