Tina was born August 30, 1964 in Greenville, South Carolina to parents, Clifton Riley and Joyce Juanita (Banther) Riley, and passed away December 1, 2019 in Onalaska, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Alan Ratcliffe.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Mudd of Onalaska, Texas; son, Robert Owen and wife, Angela of Jasper, Texas; daughter, Crystal Ann Mendoza and husband, Johnny of Rosenburg, Texas; step-daughter, Katelyn Leigh Mudd of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Isabella Owen, Alexis Burger, and Braydon Burger; step-mother, Linda Davis of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers, Dan Ratcliffe of North Carolina and Michael Riley of Galveston, Texas; sisters, Elizabeth Fisher of Webster, Texas, Deanna Thornburg of Florida, and Pepper Riley of Phoenix, Arizona; and step-sister, Lisa Rodriquez of Phoenix, Arizona; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

During her life, Tina was raised in a tumultuous family in Greenville, South Carolina, Phoenix, Arizona, Lawrence, Kansas, Pontiac, Michigan, Galveston, Texas, League City, Texas and Webster, Texas. She was married at the age of 16 and within 2 years, she had 2 children. Even though the marriage was rocky, she started out on the daunting task of raising her children without any paternal support, hardly any skills, and no resources. She struggled for years, but she made sure to hide them from her family and her children. During this time, she worked hard to improve her life and she had hoped the lives of her children. Sadly, however, a reunion was not in the cards.

Eventually, she went on with her life and began working for Johnson Space Center where she earned the respect of the entire NASA staff. In 2004, she happily married her loving husband, Michael. Together, they enjoyed success and happiness. They worked side-by-side to build the home that Tina never had.

Throughout her struggles, there was a thread that brought everything together. That thread was made of faith and courage. Tina had the courage of a lion and a strong faith in Jesus that was unshakable. She was tough, kind, gentle, and charitable. Though she had a temper, it was balanced with compassion, love, and her faith in God.

Tina was also a very private person; she hardly let people know her true self. One of the few people lucky enough for that was her husband. He will always remember her as an amazing, courageous woman. She always strived to accomplish everything she put her mind too - even when the odds were stacked against her. Tina kept that fight, that courage, that indomitable spirit until the last tick of the clock on Sunday morning, when the cancer that she fought so hard, took her final breath. Now she has finally found the peace that she deserved. She will be forever loved and missed.
