Funeral services for Toby Jeanine McIlvain, 86, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Monday, August 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. McIlvain was born June 25, 1936 in Houston, Texas and passed away July 25, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Julian "Buck" McIlvain; and parents, Raymond Marion Kronenberger and Mildred (Rogers) Kronenberger.

Toby and her husband, Buck, were one-time owners of "The Little Store" in Livingston Texas.

Toby was small in stature but big in personality. If you asked her family or any true friend, they would tell you that she was the life of the party. She could really spark up a room with her beautiful blue eyes and her beautiful smile.

Toby was also an excellent seamstress. She kept herself busy making leisure suits for Buck and endless clothing for herself and their 3 boys.

She spent a lot years managing an answer service in Houston and in her spare time she would be on any lake near by boating, fishing and swimming with her family and friends.

She will be terribly missed by all.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Scott McIlvain and Carleen of Onalaska, Texas, Nick McIlvain and Kathy of Onalaska, Texas, and Terry McIlvain and Kim of Floresville, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley Ferguson, Zachary McIlvain, and Kadie McIlvain; great granddaughter, Paige Duestenberg; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol Brandes and Robert of Onalaska, Texas, Shari Dewar and Bill of Santa Rosa, California: along with numerous other relatives and friends.
