Tom Watson Gay, age 79, of Livingston, passed away Friday September 12, 2008 at his home in Livingston.

He is survived by Mildred Gay, wife, of Livingston, James Richard Gay, son, of Gilmer, Texas, Frances Gay, daughter of livingston, Melba Slater, daughter of Livingston, Kenneth Dillon, adopted son, of Livingston, Chad Gay, grandson, Richard Bradley Gay, grandson, James Ryan Gay, grandson, Jessica Lynn Fisher, granddaughter, Leslie Ann Gay, granddaughter, Misty Purvis, granddaughter, Briana Gay, granddaughter, Jonathon Gilbert, grandson, Jennifer Gilbert, granddaughter, William Hinson, grandson, Chris Hinson, grandson, John Michael Fisher, great grandson, Dwayne Purvis, great grandson, Thomas Brandon Purvis, great grandson, Sierra Hinson, great granddaughter, Jacob Hinson, great grandson, Haley Gilbert, great granddaughter, and Delmar Lee Kurtz, sister of Livingston.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandsons, Shane & Tommy Fuller, his sister Estell Lofton, sister, Lounell Stegall and sister Mary Alice Cain.

He was born December 19,1928 in Livingston, Texas the son of Willie and Estella Wilkerson Gay.

Pallbearers will be Richard Bradley Gay, James Ryan Gay, Jonathon Gay, Chris Hinson, Buddy Stegall, Michael Fisher, Chad Gay, and Kenneth Dillon. Honorarary Pallbearers will be William Hinson and Military Honors provided by VFW Post # 8658.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 10:00am in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Bro Tim Thompson and Joe Pridgen officiating interment will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingsotn.
