Obituary
Funeral services for Tommy D. "Rod" Walker, 57, of Point Blank, Texas, will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Greg Mattox officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Point Blank, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Walker was born August 24, 1957 in Livingston, Texas, to parents, Tommie Walker and Josie Mae Walker, and passed away January 4, 2015 in Point Blank, Texas. During his life, Rod loved to be outside in nature and with children. He was a very caring person who was always concerned for other people.
He is survived by his mother, Josie Walker of Point Blank, Texas; sisters, Barbara Mattox and Greg of Magnolia, Texas, Janice Gearhart and Larry of Point Blank, Texas, Francis Gearhart and Buford of Point Blank, Texas, Libby Oates and Deryl of Livingston, Texas, Wendy Sanchez and Robert of Onalaska, Texas, Shelia Alders and Carl of Coldspring, Texas; brothers, Farrelin Walker and Michelle of Nacogdoches, Texas, Charles Ray Walker of Point Blank, Texas, Robert Walker of Point Blank, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
