Tony Hnatek James 91, of Livingston passed away Tuesday May 20, 2008. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 22, 2008 at 11:00AM in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Livingston, with Rev. Carl Roth officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30PM in the Brookside Cemetery in Houston. Visitation will be Wednesday May 21, 2008 in the Cochran Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 8:00PM.

She was born August 25, 1916 in Hallettsville to parents John and Veronyka Prapka Hnatek. Tony married Odis Donald James on May 8, 1937 in Houston, Tx.

Tony is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, along with her daughter Verna Bell Bullock, brothers Henry Hnatek, Joe Hnatek, John Hnatek, August Hnatek, and Edward Hnatek, sisters Annie Okley, Emilie Childs, and Stacie Little.

She is survived by her daughter Dorothy Ricks, grandchildren Bennie L. Schovajsa Jr., DeeAnn Adams, Veronyka Kiss, Sherman Bartley, Thomas Bartley, and great grandchild Heather Schovajsa.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bennie L. Schovajsa Jr., Sherman A. Bartley, Thomas J. Bartley, Brian D. Adams, Bennie Schovajsa Sr., and Kenneth Bullock.
