Obituary
Troy H. Palmer, age 76 of Livingston, Texas passed away on October 10, 2013 in Houston, Texas. He was born on February 28, 1937 in Corpus Christi, Texas to parents, Samuel Gilford Palmer and Mamie Nell (Bonner) Palmer.
Troy is preceded in death by both of his parents; two daughters, Venita Carol Palmer and Vicky Lynn Palmer; and grandson, Anthony Mazzili. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Judy Palmer of Livingston; sons, Troy Palmer, Jr. of La Porte, Douglas Lee Palmer of Teague, Michael Wayne Feris of Mansfield, and Dee Anthony Feris of Livingston; daughter, Cherylyn Douglass of Livingston; five sisters; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Mr. Palmer was a member of the Fairbanks Masonic Lodge A.F & A.M – 32 Degree, Scottish Rite Mason Orient of Houston, Arabia Shrine Temple, and the Houston Heights Rotary Club. He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Services for Troy H. Palmer will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Father Melvin Gray will be officiating.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, prior to service time on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shriners Burn Hospital in Galveston, Texas.
