Obituary
Memorial services for Van Thomas, 81, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Coach John Taylor and Dr. Don Willis officiating.
Mr. Thomas was born July 21, 1933 in McCrory, Arkansas to parents, James Harve Thomas and Tess McDaniel, and passed away October 10, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy Mac Thomas; Jack Thomas; Jean Thomas; Vance Thomas and James Thomas; and sister, Ruby Thomas.
He is survived by his sister, Wade Holder of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Mary Thomas of Dallas, Texas; nephew, Keith Thomas of Burleson, Texas; nieces, Judy Whitehead; Gloria Allgood; Lisa Thomas and Betty Cary all of Little Rock, Arkansas; niece, Doris Farley of Dallas, Texas; nephew, Harvey Thomas of Memphis, Tennessee and numerous other relatives and friends.
