Funeral services for Van Ray Thompson, 54, of Livingston, Texas will be held Monday, September 24, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Alabama-Coushatta Multi-Cultural Center in Livingston, Texas with Bro. David Busby officiating. Interment will follow in the Alabama-Coushatta Reservation Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018 beginning at 5:00 in Mr. Thompson's residence in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Thompson was born on June 1, 1964 in Houston, Texas to parents, Gilbert Thompson and Brenda (Williams) Thompson, and passed away September 21, 2018 in Conroe, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Kristi Thompson.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Poncho and husband, Stewart of Livingston; daughter, Janai Thompson of Livingston; son, Gilbert Thompson of Livingston; daughter, Alexis Thompson of Livingston; brothers, Craig Thompson and Burt Thompson both of Livingston; sister, Trisha Thompson of Livingston; grandchildren, Trent, Jaycie, Aleia, Savanna, Shanaya, Naaman and wife, Shanaye, Ciarra, Ranalyn, Naki, Naylan, Myla, and Lincoln; and great-grandchildren, Isabella, Hooper, and Shooter; along with numerous nieces, other relatives and friends.
