Obituary
Funeral Service for Velma Richey Jones, age 84 of Livingston, will be held at 4:00PM on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, TX. Bro. Fred Alford will conduct the services. Interment will follow the chapel service at Camp Ruby Cemetery in Polk County, TX. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM - 9:00PM on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.
Mrs. Jones passed away on April 3, 2012 in Lufkin, TX. She was born on September 22, 1927 in Livingston to parents, Joseph B. Richey and Novella Hester Richey. Kenneth Jones became her husband in Beaumont, TX on July 17, 1981. Mrs. Jones was a member of Blanchard Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Novella Richey; two brothers, Herman Richey, Marvin Richey; and three sisters, Hazel Kenner, Avis Kervin and Estelle Sanders. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Kenneth Jones of Livingston; brother, J. C. Richey of Angleton and sister, Thelma Clawson of Houston.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston.
