February 25, 1933 - February 4, 2013
Velma Florence Kimmel, age 79 of Trinity, Texas, passed away on February 4, 2013 in Livingston, Texas. Velma was born on February 25, 1933 in Rice, Texas, to parents Chester Lloyd and Mayme Hill Twilligear.
Velma is preceded in death by both of her parents; sisters, Bobbie Bankhead and Martha Pyle; and grandson, Lloyd Robert Cain. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Holden, of Bryan, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd and Sharon Cain, of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Kristina and Michael Tabaczka, of Twin Lake Michigan, Frederick and Jennifer Holden, of Scottville, Michigan, Chesney and Ryan Cote of College Station, Texas, and Samantha Cain, of Livingston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Breanna, Frederick James, Rek, Jaeleen, Michaela, and Gabriella; great-great grandchild, Daniel; brother, Lloyd Calvin Twilligear and Linda Lee, of Tacoma, Washington; and Escar Kimmel.
A memorial service for Velma Florence Kimmel will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 10:00 AM, at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Rev. Bryan Dickens will officiate the service. Interment will be held at Magnolia Hill Cemetery at a later date.
