Funeral services for Vera Elaine Scott, 71, of Moscow, Texas will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025, at10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at Kibbie Field Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

Vera was born April 15, 1954 in Livingston, Texas and passed away August 21, 2025 in Moscow, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert D. McGowen and Ruth B. (Wyatt) McGowen; and son, Wilbert Dewayne Scott.

She is survived by her husband, Green Scott, Jr. of Moscow, Texas; son, Milton Earl Scott of Waco, Texas; daughter, Debbie Scott Jones of Lufkin, Texas; son, Keith Allen Scott of Lufkin, Texas; daughter, Latasha Michelle Scott May of Moscow, Texas; and daughter, Faliana Ramirez; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
