Funeral services for Viola Mae Boone age 81 of Winnie, Texas will be held Saturday April 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston with Family officiating and interment to follow in the Menard Chapel Cemetery in Polk County. Pallbearers will be Brian Keefover, George Amolochitis, Sam Boone, Earl Boone, Wayne Bass, Robert Celis and Pat Boone.

She was born February 7, 1930 in Shamrock, Texas the daughter of Hustus Augusta Miller and Dorothy Marie Poe Miller and passed away April 20, 2011 in Winnie, Texas. She is preceded in death by Hustus and Dorothy Poe Miller, parents, Billy Boone and Leonard Boone, sons, Jake Wayne Boone, great grandchild, Hustus Ray (Hoot) Miller and Rodger Miller, brothers, Jeanette Baker, Christine Miller, and Loretta Jean Miller, sisters.

She is survived by W. W. ""Bill"" Boone, husband of Winnie, Texas, Sammy Boone, son of Rye, Texas, Dorothy Boone Amolochitis, daughter of Channelview, Texas, Anita Boone Amolochitis, daughter of Humble, Texas, Gloria Miller Bryer, sister of Oklahoma, Patricia Miller Skillern, sister of Graham, Texas, Danny Gus Miller, brother of Austin, Texas, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
