Funeral services for Viola Mearl Goodman, 88, of Coldspring, Texas, will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Mike Richards officiating. Interment will be held in the Wimberly Cemetery in Wimberly, Texas at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018.

Mrs. Goodman was born March 14, 1930 in Ingleside, Texas, to parents, Roy Lynch and Clara (Johnson) Lynch, and passed away December 17, 2018 in Coldspring, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Goodman; sisters, Gladys Kinnison, Dorothy Kinnison, and Nina Kirkland; brother, Alton Lynch; grandson, Dale Geary; and son-in-law, Emery Watrous.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Watrous of Coldspring; son, Larry Goodman and wife, Lanora of Livingston; son, Rick Goodman of Texas City; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Tommie Lynch of Cleveland; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kindred Hospice.
