Funeral services for Violet Kay Poncho Reese, 58, of Waco, Texas, will be held Friday, December 27, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the Indian Village Assembly of God in Livingston, Texas with Rev. David Busby and Rev. Thurman Watson Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Alabama-Coushatta Reservation Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. A wake service will be held Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.

Violet Kay was born on April 4, 1955 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Carter Poncho and Beatrice Thompson Poncho and passed away on December 21, 2013 in Waco, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband: Dan Parsons of Waco, Texas; sons: Jawoski Baxter of Waco, Texas, Jarod Baxter of Houston, Texas, Jeriamiss Baxter of Waco, Texas; daughter: Tiffany Baxter of Waco, Texas; Grandchildren: Amiya, Constance, Deandre, and Matthew; aunts: Christine Poncho and husband James, Diana Thompson; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Violet Kay will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers, Justin Poncho, Ross Abey Jr., Shane Poncho, Augie Beene, Billy Beene III, Frederick Baxter, Samuel Baxter, and Brandon Townsend.
