Graveside services for Virgil Arvis Cranford, 80, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery in Houston, Texas with Bro. James Moore officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2014 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Cranford was born March 29, 1934 in Houston, Texas to parents, Virgil K. Cranford and Thelma Alice (Waldon) Cranford, and passed away November 17, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Betty Cranford; second wife, Gracie Cranford; sisters, Marie Smith, Trudy Fitzgerald and Barbara Harmon; brother, Richard Cranford; and daughter, Reba Warner.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Tanya Cranford of Spring, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, David and Melody Cranford of Humble, Texas; daughter, Sharon Cranford of New Caney, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and John McDowell of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Travis Williamson of Houston, Texas; sister, Virginia Roberts of Houston, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
